with after film discussion
The film recreates the last hours in the life of Carlo Giuliani, the 23-year-old demonstrator who was shot dead by Italian police in the midst of the anti-capitalist riots in Genoa in Jul 2001. Narrated by Haidi, Carlo's mother and interspersing interviews with archival news footage and photographs, the film calls into question official explanations of the circumstances that led to Carlo's death and the results of the Government enquiry.
