TWO CNT SUPPORTERS JAILED FOR ALLEGED COLLABORATION WITH SUPPOSED E.T.A. COLLABORATERS
During June of 1998, two of CNT's supporters who are residents in Larrabasterra (in the Bizcaia area of the Basque Country) were arrrested early in the morning by the Basque Country Police, blamed of collaboration with terrorist collaborators. The police action was an abuse because no judicial order to justify the arrest and no order to search in the flat were obtained by the authorities at the time of the arrest. Alfredo and Blanca were inmediatly sent to Madrid and tried.The judge then sent them straight to jail, so they were moved several times during that morning back and forth from the jail to the court in Madrid. The prosecution's argument is that Alfredo and Blanca let two friends sleep in their flat who the goverment claims are terrorist collaborators. This however cannot be proven either. Alfredo and Blanca after three months are still in prison,that's why we are asking for some solidarity to them. If you would like to write to them:
