Ian's anarchist activities drew both friends and enemies alike. While a contributor to Spunk magazine and an organiser of the Glasgow Anarchy conference in 1994, he also drew unwelcome press attention. The Sunday Times printed a vicious and salacious article containing substantial untruths which resulted in difficulties for Ian at his work.
